WhatsApp a Multi platform messenger and the world famous messenger has taken a violating decision to stop giving updates and stop supporting Handset like BlackBerry , Nokia and older Android phones.As this is cruel decision by WhatsApp for the users who have old Phones.

Whatsapp arguing that they want to give many updates and features to the It’s messenger and they cant do with old phones, as they cant uphold and stand with the new version of their App which they want.

“While these mobile devices have been an important part of our story, they don’t offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app’s features in the future,” was written in their blog post their support for these Handsets is going to stop at the end of the years so those who want to use WhatsApp has to buy a New Handset with the Newer version.

The phone which is going to affect by this decision majorly are the Nokia S40, Nokia Symbian S60, Nokia x2 (Java version), Nokia x2-01 (Java version) and other Nokia phones ,Windows Phone 7.1, Android 2.1-2.3 and for all the Blackberry phones.

This decision will majorly affect the BlackBerry uesrs as they sold 7 million phones in 2014 this means there majority of the phone is going to affect by it.

“This was a tough decision for us to make, but the right one in order to give people better ways to keep in touch with friends, family, and loved ones using WhatsApp,”the company wrote in its blog post. “If you use one of these affected mobile devices, we recommend upgrading to a newer Android, iPhone, or Windows Phone before the end of 2016 to continue using WhatsApp.”

It’s been a fairly popular messenger in the world! It;s seems that they have a good plan for their future updates and to increase the features of their App.
