Walmart and IKEA Join hands to compete with Amazon
IKEA one of the biggest furniture brand has joined forces with Walmart and now going to sell his Furniture through them because they felt the need to move online in this new digital era. IKEA sells stylish furniture from Urban Ladder for home office, college, school and for every need, all types of furniture are sell by IKEA it has expanded itself in 49 countries till now and they are planning to expand it more in future.
Lyckdal Kaisa the woman who spoke for this furnishing giant say that this is the trial to just check out how things work going online in 2018 but that “no decisions are made regarding what platforms/markets will be in the pilot.”
Lyckdal Kaisa on his Email to the Associated Press on this Tuesday said that IKE would be creating more and better plans for developing his online sale furthermore in the next couple of years.
IKEA also said that currently, their main focus is to remain with their current existing sales channel including their own websites and IKEA stores. They also said that more than 2.3 billion users worldwide visited their site in 2017. IKEA was founded in Sweeden and currently now have a headquarters in Leiden which is in the country of Netherlands, there are more than 400 stores ok IKEA in 49 countries.
