Plungers might not always work. If your toilet ball is filled to the top, then it is not advisable to use the plunger. Instead, Use these tricks to unclog a toilet without a plunger.

  1. The dishwasher is your savior

Pour a generous amount of dishwasher to your toilet bowl and then add hot water and wait. This method is only advisable if the water level is not high. Then again pour hot water until or unless you see a receding water level. This requires a lot more patience and time and if you don’t have, kindly skip this one.

  1. Toilet snake with a Wardrobe Hanger

Take the plastic hanger which you have not been using for a long time. Unwind it and spiral it out to be a snake. Tie an old rug on it and secure it with a rubber band and also grab yourself a pair of gloves. Now insert it to the bowl and twist it. This should unclog your toilet and if so flush it to see your toilet shining brightly as ever.

  1. Toilet drainer to the rescue

Homemade drainer or the store bought chemical one. The choice is yours. Always buy the store bought drainer with fewer chemicals as it can destroy the coloring of your toilet bowl too.

A homemade toilet drainer can be made by using

  • A bucket of hot water
  • ½ a cup of baking soda
  • 2 cups of Vinegar

Wait for half an hour for the water level to go down and then flush off your toilet. Now if this method is not working, then go for the chemical cleaner.

  • Pour the drainer according to the specified measurement given on the instructions. Do not pour it over you. In case of an accident, it gets on you do follow up with some first aid before seeing a physician.

Drip, drip and there goes dripping of water again. You definitely don’t want this dripping noise of water at night. It not only increases your water bill but also ends up losing 200 gallons of water per day.
