OnePlus has already announced the launch date of OnePlus 5t at its “A new view” event held in Brooklyn New York, which is November 16th. We are just a week away from the launch and OnePLus 5T has been leaking around all over the internet, we already got to know about the design, box packaging, and benchmarks. So now let’s talk about what we got to know about the device so far from the leaks and rumors.

OnePlus 5T Design

OnePlus 5T comes with a 6.01-inch full optic Amoled display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and 80.5% screen to body ratio following the bezel less trend of 2017. From the leaked images we can see that it has less top and bottom bezels, more like OnePlus in a Oppo R11S body and fingerprint sensor has been move to the back, The phone also sports 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla glass 5. The headphone jack? Yes it’s still there, OnePlus was kind enough to keep the headphone jack in 5T.

OnePlus 5T Camera 

OnePlus 5T comes with a 16 Megapixel primary rear camera with Sony IMX 398 sensor and 20 Megapixel secondary rear camera with IMX 367K sensor, with an Aperture of f/1.7. It can record 4K at 30fps and 720p slow Mo at 120fps. On the front it has a 16 Megapixel Camera with Sony IMX 371 sensors and f/2.0 Aperture, same as it’s predecessor.

OnePlus 5T Hardware

Leaked images reveals that the phone is made of anodized aluminium which means no wireless charging. In the internals OnePlus 5T comes with same 2.4Ghz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 Octa-core chipset as its predecessors OnePlus 5, with 6gb and 8gb RAM variants and Adreno 540 GPU. As far as the storage is concerned 5T will come with 64GB and 128GB internal Storage capacity. USB type C connector with OnePlus Dash charge and 3300mah non removable battery, though the screen size has been increased OnePlus should have provided a bigger battery, but the users has to settle with the battery as its predecessor.

OnePlus 5T will be running OxygenOs based on Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box. OnePlus is still testing its Oreo based OxygenOs as an open beta. Which might hit OnePlus 5 and 5T in early January 2018. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau also hinted about the pricing of OnePlus 5 on Weibo, the smartphone may cost around 39,100 INR. OnePlus will also introduce a flash sale on November 21th for pre-orders and for others the official sale will start on November 28th on Amazon as it’s a Amazon exclusive smartphone.

While on the geek bench telefoonabonnement.nl spotted it’s listing. The OnePlus 5T scored 1959 on single core and 6742 on multiple cores, It outperforms other phones running Snapdragon 835 chipset.
